"Open what is in the world to the world" is the shared goal of the project born in December 2018 and dedicated to the "Culture of the Communities" that safeguard and welcome the Italian State Natural Reserves managed by the Forestry, Environmental and Agri-Food Units Command of the Carabinieri (CUFA ), and the Literary Parks.
Community's awareness of its own material and immaterial heritage, history, traditions and peculiarities of the agri-food value chain is a crucial element in the effort of protecting and safeguarding the environment. The most advanced social defense is the cultural one, an instrument of survival not only for endemisms but also for local identities. A fortunate collaboration in line with the principles of social responsibility and environmental sustainability to "build a shared path and make the State Natural Reserves and Literary Parks evolve into Cultural Reserves".
The 130 Italian State Natural Reserves are the habitats of considerable naturalistic value, preserved and safeguarded from degradation and speculation, formerly by the Italian Forestry Corps, and currently by the Command of the Forest, Environmental and Agri-Food Units of the Carabinieri.
I Parchi Letterari ( Literary Parks) represent territories characterized by various combinations of natural and human factors revealing, by way of literature, the heritage of local communities.
The project mission is to promote the unicity and talents kept in each one of the local communities through pathways marked by poetry, words, music, flavors, and craftsmanship beginning from scheduling events dedicated to families and the whole population, particularly the younger generations, stimulating a conscious and all-encompassing fruition of the local heritage.
A standpoint enthusiastically shared by the involved communities' representatives committed to enable the territories, often repository of hidden excellence, the citizens, and single talents to fulfill their potential.
